Between 4-11 October 2019 had place the international Youth Exchange called Re-style, organized by Zöld Nap Association with partners from Greece SEE giving opportunities TEAM, Armenia United Youth and Hungary Nyitott Szemmel Association. During the 6 days the 24 participants from the 4 countries had worked on themes which are closely related with the topic of the project: the healthy lifestyle. After five years of university, what can one do, if he can't find a job he'd like to do? - asked myself. During my student years in Kolozsvár, I took time to visit home, and attend differenct events of the Gree Sun Association. I tried to stay faithful to the organization throughout the time I was out of the town. This created a fruitful result, because in the end of 2018 I received an opportunity to attend more than 6 months volunteering project, in the coolest charity shop of Budapest, called Filantrópia. My stay there started in February, 2019 and lasted for seven months.
Between 4 - 6th of September, 3 associations from 3 different countries visited Kézdivásárhely, to prepare for first, week long youth exchange (named: "Re-style your life to live a healthy life!", project number: 2019-1-RO01-KA105-062187) project number that will be organized in the town, between 4-11 October, partially sponsored by the Erasmus+ found. The abroad associations mentioned above are: SEE giving opportunities TEAM from Greece, United Youth from Armenia, Nyitott Szemmel Association from Hungary.
On the 1st of September, during the Fall City Days, the Green Sun Association put on their stand on the Gábor Áron square. People who were interested, could try out "green" games to learn more about current environmental issues, as well as participate in a town-exploring game, called "Look around". Aim of the game was to get to know better the beautiful, but less known sights of Kézdivásárhely.
The Családok Határtalanul Foundation from Kecskemét organized an 8 day youth exchange in Galyatető, Hungary, in the beautuiful forest environment of Mátra mountain. Katalin Derzsi and Attila Ráduly from the Green Sun Association attended together with 13 sekler teenagers (13-15 years old) from the county, Târgu Secuiesc, Cernat, Albiș and Ghelința. In February 2019 the Green Sun Association started for the first time the Russian School The host of the course is EVS volunteer of the Friends of Environment project Elena Ershova, who will do its utmost to teach the participants as much as possible about Russian language. Green Sun Association offered a new opportunity to youngsters from Szeklerland to participate in a youth exchange abroad from the 23rd through the 29th of September. The exchange project “Virtual consumption – real problems” took place in Felsőtárkány, Hungary, and was co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme.The exchange, that lasted for 5 days, started with a 17-hour trip for the team. After arriving to the venue, the members finally met the participant from other countries and had the chance to complain about the long and tiring journey.
The Green Sun Association offered a new opportunity for young people from Targu Secuiesc, to participate in the program RISC, with the support of Erasmus +. The youth exchange took place in Kecskemet, the seventh largest city in Hungary. Photos from the exchange can be viewed on the Faceboo page of the association.
The conference "EFOP-5.2.2 Transnational Co-operation", organized by the Egri Norma Foundation, took place in Eger, Hungary in the period 18-19 June. The conference was attended by four organizations from different countries, who will work together to meet the objectives of the project. The main theme of the conference is to prevent the emigration of young people, to identify the real reasons why they opt for emigration, and to develop different strategies to stop the phenomena mentioned above.
