On the occasion of the International Volunteer Day on December 5. 2020. the team of the Green Sun Association visited the László Incze Guild Museum in Târgu Secuiesc, where they became acquainted with the values of local history. The team of the association was also accompanied by the volunteers of the ESC project - Heal the Earth! The Green Sun Association in partnership with the Sports Office of Târgu Secuiesc Municipality organized on 3.12.2020 the event "Moving afternoon". The purpose of the event was to make participants aware of a healthier life, which was intended to be achieved by offering various programs. At that day volunteers, children, parents, athletes and adults gathered in the Sport Center to play, draw, relax, exercise, have fun and discuss.
The Green Sun Association from Târgu Secuiesc, in its latest project Be a volunteer, feed your soul, has developed an extensive campaign, which had been included in a richly illustrated publication, available both online and in print. The brochure promotes the culture of volunteering on a large scale by addressing to the local community and raises awareness about its benefits, beauties and consequences. In addition to those mentioned in reports written by volunteers, it highlights the exact definition of volunteering, its legal implications, the opportunities it offers.
Green Sun Association during 04.11. - 04.12.2020 implements the project Be a volunteer, feed your soul! Thus, between November 6 - 8, seventeen young people aged between 16-35 gathered to develop a campaign to promote volunteering in Târgu Secuiesc.
