The organization is called Menedékhaz (menedekhaz means: shelter house) and was founded in 2005. The foundation’s goal is helping homeless people and families in need - providing them accomodation and helping them to increase their chances for re-integration with the help of social work and other services.

We are very pleased to announce that the bicycle skill contest will be organized on July 30.2020. starting at 18:00. The event, which has a long tradition, will be organized on the field near the Sport center in the city in partnership with the Kendu Association and the Sports Office of Târgu Secuiesc.

Between July 18-19, the Green Sun Association organized the second team building of this year for the organization's volunteers. The training consisted of applying numerous non-formal methods: team building games, games that were meant to strengthen communication skills as well as other fun educational games. On July 15. 2020, 9 volunteers from the Green Sun Association had the opportunity to spend a few hours in the blue pearl yard owned by the producer Kelemen Gábor. Photos during the visit are available on the Facebook page of the association.

On June 27. 2020 the Tegyünk Kézdiszékért civil society organized it’s first bike ride titled “"Kitörés Kézdiszékért.” Twelve volunteers form the  Green Sun Association participated in the event.
