Dear friends and followers of Green Sun Association! We wish you a happy new year, full of challenges and success! We are proud to announce that this year’s first edition of the newspaper “Zöld Napok” was published. As usual, the last season’s volunteer – in this case the title was won by Mihály Csaba – is presented in the first part of the paper. After, we inform you regarding the programs organized by the association in the previous three months.

Green Sun Association will organize the 5th Armenian national event in Vigadó Cultural House. During the evening, Mariam Sargsyan Armenian volunteer in the frame of the project Environment+, financed by the European Solidarity Corp Program will take you on a journey to the land of sun, hospitality and rich history. You will be able to discover the unique country of Armenia through a presentation and a beautiful song, which will be performed by the Turkish ESC volunteer Asiye Demirci.

The Green Sun Association with Sports Office from Kézdivásárhely from 7th - 10th of January organized a walk-in camp for children in different age. The main idea of the camp was to promote healthy and friendly lifestyle between children, including different type of activities, games, handcraft, storytelling, sport and etc. Photos taken on the event can be seen on the Facebook page of the Green Sun Association.

Green Sun Association is searching for volunteers for an EVS project in Targu Secuiesc, Transylvania, Romania. The project was approved in April 2019 and the voluntary stage will start on 3th of May 2020. We need volunteers from EU countries and the stage will last for 12 months.

In the end of November 2019 Green Sun Association launched the second edition of the Russian conversational club. The hosts of the club are Mariam Sargsyan and Salome Pirtskhelava, ESC volunteers in the association’s project,  Environment+, who are engaged to offer an introduction to Russian language and culture to everyone interested.
