Davit's blog

On March 17 “Green Sun” team was in a small village, called Dalnik, not far from Kézdivásárhely (about twenty km). It was a small village with the population of about one thousand. There was a Church, kindergarten and school in the centre of the village.

To make lockdown days more interesting and fun we decided to start something new, that people can join from their houses.
It is already more than a  month we are organizing a quiz club.

It is a very good, intellectual, online game, during which participants are answering fifteen-twenty questions, about different topics. After, we are going through all the questions, and share our feelings about the game.

Also, we have one secret question, for which the person who is answering to it right getting a gift.

As we already know, "Green Sun " Association is cooperating with dozens of schools and universities. But because of Covid-19, the majority of them became online and "Green Sun" Association had to stop for a while this type of activities.

To our delight, as the number of infected people was going down in the city, we again had opportunity to restart cooperation with schools.

On October 31 we (Me – Davit and Lilit) were in a mountains. Maybe you will ask so what? This was not an ordinary hiking. In every year, on October 31, local people are going to mountains for making huge fire, praying and singing traditional songs and anthems. While doing this they can see also another local people in other mountains doing the same thing, which is making fire.

As I understood they are doing this for making kind of ‘circle’, to show to the universe that they are one and strong community and they keep their traditions.

On october twenty fourth we (me Davit, Nane and Lilit with Csaba) went to a dog shelter near Brasov. It was the first tiime I went any type of shelter. When we reached there, one big, white mountain shephered dog greet us in front of the shelter. He was a very hairy, kind  and cute dog.

There were around 5 volunteers and workers.I was really proud of them, because they are doing great job for homeless dogs.In a dog shelter there were 3 separate places for dogs. The first part was for sick dogs. The second one was a place for adoptable  dogs and the third place was for angry dogs (but I am sure that the reason of their angryness were rude people).
